We're in search of a Product Owner (tittle at Kyanon Digital) who possesses deep domain knowledge in E-COMMERCE and shares our mindset of taking charge of the entire product development process.
As a Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in the success of our software projects and products. You will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable user stories and product backlogs. Additionally, you will actively engage with clients, gathering feedback and incorporating it into product development. Your role demands strong communication and leadership skills that enable you to effectively manage expectations, align stakeholders, and facilitate the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate is not only a strategic thinker, team leader, and customer-focused, but also passionate about technology and software development.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
1. Requirements Analysis & Product Ownership
- Collaborate closely with clients and key stakeholders to understand their business context, goals, and operational challenges.
- Take part in defining product strategies and high-level roadmaps aligned with business outcomes and system constraints.
- Conduct user and business analysis to clarify needs, validate assumptions, and shape solution directions
- Propose and articulate product solutions that balance business value, user needs, and delivery feasibility
- Translate strategic inputs into well-structured user stories and clear acceptance criteria
- Drive backlog ownership: prioritize features based on impact, feasibility, and client goals
- Work closely with internal delivery teams to ensure alignment on scope, value, and sprint readiness
- Continuously engage with stakeholders to reassess priorities, update roadmaps, and incorporate evolving requirements.
- Maintain product documentation and roadmap visibility across all teams involved in delivery
2. Project Execution & Quality Assurance
- Define project milestones and timelines to align with strategic objectives and ensure on-time delivery.
- Oversee project reporting including dashboards, status reports, roadmaps, burn-down charts & velocity metrics.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure the project is delivered within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Manage change requests by working closely with Account Managers to understand customer needs, prioritize requests, and implement changes efficiently.
WHAT YOU NEED TO PLAY THE ROLE
- At least 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Product Owner or Product Manager roles, ideally in consulting, agency, or outsourcing settings.
- Strong technical foundation – background in Software Engineering or similar technical disciplines.
- Experience & knowledge in E-COMMERCE is a MUST;
- Experience leading the development of end-to-end systems or products from scratch.
- Experience with large-scale enterprise products/systems – especially where multiple teams & stakeholders are involved.
- Comfortable working directly with foreign clients & having good stakeholder management skills.
- Capable of translating client needs into achievable product roadmaps and actionable backlogs.
- Comprehensive knowledge of application lifecycle management and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English, enabling effective communication with global clients.
- Location: onsite in Ho Chi Minh City
